Famous places such as Marche (19 km), Hotton with the caves of '1001 Nacht' (10 km) or La Roche with the famous ruins (19 km) are easily accessible from here.

According to experts, Durbuy is the smallest town in the world, situated along the Ourthe and at the foot of the Ardennes. For lovers of good cuisine, cozy terraces and nice shops, Durbuy is a true paradise. Of course there is plenty of opportunity to walk, descend the Ourthe by kayak, make a trip with a mountain-bike or on horseback into the forest. Some attractions nearby: the caves '1001 night' in Hotton, the dolmens and menhirs in Wéris, the castle of Logne.

The municipality of Havelange consists of a large number of villages and hamlets in the beautiful rolling countryside of the Condroz. Lovers of table pleasures will certainly enjoy: you can enjoy many original local dishes that can be bought directly from the producer. The "Route du Fromage" starts to enjoy a certain fame. Furthermore, the area is dotted with castles and other architectural gems. The village of Ossogne is definitely worth a visit: the watermill, the castle and the narrow streets with authentic houses and farms. Havelange is centrally located for trips to Namur, the Grottoes of Han, the recreation area at Chevetogne and Dinant.

Heure is a rural village and for a large part quite high. You will find several restaurants of very good quality. The tourist office is located in the center. From here also leave most of the signposted walks of the region. Moressée is a few kilometers from Heure. Here you can enjoy total peace and a beautiful panorama. Very popular with walkers. The picturesque village of Ny is a quiet part of town (150 inhabitants) of the famous town of Hotton (4 km). In this region where the Ourthe de Aisne meets, you can imagine the Ardennes as a single chain of wooded ravines, fast flowing rivers and steep cliffs with here and there a castle. If you decide to visit the sights in the area, you will certainly not be disappointed. There is Hotton, with its Faber mill and its caves (about 5 km), called 'Caves of Thousand-and-One Nights' because of its fairytale dripstones. At less than 10 km you are in Wéris; in the woods around you can see various menhirs and 2 dolmens whose original destination is not entirely clear. Also worth visiting are the small and charming Durbuy with its 17th century castle (15 km) and La Roche (20 km). See also Marche-en-famenne (12 km).

Ocquier is only 8 km from Durbuy, known as the smallest town in the world and the restaurants and taverns round the "Grand'Place". In the village you walk from one surprise to another: the intimate "Cour des Moines" with classified houses, the Romanesque church and the Vieux Moulin ... In the area you can visit the Caves of 1001 Night (Hotton), but also the buxustuin in Durbuy, the castle of Modave ...
