In the Middle-Ages, Bouillon has been a starting point for the Crusades and now, it’s a small but very nice town alongside the Semois. It presents the oldest and most interesting feudal vestiges in Belgium. A visit to the fortified castle and the museums of Bouillon are certainly worth a drive. You’ll also enjoy the local gastronomy and the splendid nature. Miles of sign-posted paths invite the visitor to discover the surrounding hills. The view of the valley from Rochehaut is breathtaking and many small typical villages of profound charm stretch along the meanders of a lazy Semois.
